Climategate: It's Always about the Money

Read this article in the WSJ--"Climategate: Follow the Money."

Here are some snippits (I really hate that word) from the article:
  • Phil Jones, Director of the CRU, recipient of $19 million worth of research grants.
  • NASA's climate research: $1.3 billion.
  • National Science Foundation, $300 million
  • California's climate initiative, $600 million
  • Other groups receiving climate change-related funding: Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Ozone Action, Clean Air Cool Planet, Americans for Equitable Climate Change Solutions, the Alternative Energy Resources Association, the California Climate Action Registry and so on and on.
"The climategate scientists, the keepers of the keys to the global warming cathedral": their edifice is crumbling.

I don't care about the rest of them, although they ought to lose their cushy little tenured seats at the universities. What I really want to see is this evil freak AlGore frog-marched off to prison.
