"Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall" --Thank you, Ronald Reagan

One world leader was absent from Monday's celebration marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. The excuse from the White House? A "packed schedule" (perhaps "impacted schedule" was the word they were looking for). Although we haven't forgotten that Obama had no trouble clearing his busy, busy calendar so he could fly to Copenhagen to pimp Chicago for the 2016 Olympics.

Instead, Obama sent to Berlin a video of himself--a narcissist's dream, a 20-foot screenshot of his head. In his video speech, Obama didn't mention Ronald Reagan, didn't mention Margaret Thatcher. Instead he mentioned himself: “Few would have seen on that day that… that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent.” WTF? Buddy, we are so sick of your schtick.

How do you like this guy now, Europe?

The Missourah blog expresses my thoughts on this precisely: "In case you were wondering what the fall of the Berlin wall was all about. . . "
