"Obama not up to the job,"
White House "Insider" Says

This comes from "a longtime Washington D.C. insider" who is no longer at the White House. So take it with a grain of salt. If what this person says is true, then it would seem, like his wife, that Obama doesn't like his job. This "insider" says that almost immediately after O was sworn in, things began to change, and he showed that he clearly didn't like the work of being President.

Here are some nuggets from the article:

He obsesses over Fox News, and he also watches a lot of TV--like ESPN.

He despises his VP, Joe Biden: "Give the guy a job and get him out of my hair."

He's "scared to death" of Hillary Clinton and obsesses over her almost as much as Fox News.

He gets excited when the conversation turns to sports, but when someone starts talking about Congress or some policy, he turns off. "It's really very strange."

He's not a stupid man, he's just not particularly smart. Bill Clinton--he's a smart guy--"he would run intellectual circles around Barack Obama."

This "insider" says he's (she?--we don't know) been away from the White House for a month, so he doesn't know how bad things are at the White House now, but when he left, "the infighting [was] off the charts."

Like a lot of married people, the Obama's are having "issues. . . .Maybe that is why Obama seems so detached--not so much the stress of the White House, but the stress of personal issues."

This person concludes, "the president is losing it. . . . he is losing whatever spark he had during the campaign. . . . He doesn't seem to have the confidence to do the job of President, and it's getting worse and worse." But "he loves campaigning. He just loves it so much. He really needs the crowds, the cheering, the support of the people."

"Obama is not up to the job of being president. He simply doesn't seem to care about the work involved. You want to know what? Obama is lazy. He really is. And it is getting worse and worse." Looking back, says this individual, Obama wasn't ready to be president [Really? Really??]. "He had never lost a campaign. Everything was handed to him. He really doesn't understand the idea of work--real, hard, get your heart and soul into it work."

Well, who woulda thunk?

Addition. One of my favorite writers at HotAir is a guy who goes by the name of "Doctor Zero." He had this to say this morning, Sept. 18, in a post titled "The Palin Card."

Let me put this bluntly: virtually no one in America gives a damn what Barack Obama says about anything at this point. What could be more predictable, and less interesting, than Obama’s opinion on any given subject? Who wants to contemplate the economic wisdom of a guy who looted the Treasury for a trillion dollars, with less benefit than we could have achieved by stuffing hundred dollar bills into random cereal boxes? Who’s excited to hear about the next plan to convert taxpayer dollars into Democrat campaign funds? Who’s hungry for another hour of tedious excuses about permanently broken markets and the titanic dead hand of George W. Bush? Who wants a lecture on ethical business practices from the titular head of the party that gave us Charlie Rangel and Maxine Waters? What use is another hollow foreign-policy speech from a man who sees no global adversary to rival the menace of Arizona? Even Obama’s supporters don’t hear anything he says any more. There’s nothing left to hear.
