A fascinating photo
Gateway Pundit. This photo was taken at a holy Quds Day rally in Tehran. "Quds," as we recall from the Obama administration's counterterrorism advisor John Brennan, is the Islamist name for Jerusalem. You can see the little boy there in front with his toy gun. I guess it's a toy. The Statue of Liberty in the background there is being hung in effigy. Who knows what the arabic words say that are written on the Israeli "coffin." Of course most of these "brave" people have their faces covered.
Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched an angry attack on the "doomed" US-brokered Middle East peace talks, while he urges Palestinians to continue armed resistance to Israel. While these peace talks were taking place in Washington, four Israeli settlers were shot dead when Hamas gunmen opened fire on a car along the main road to the West Bank city of Hebron.
Israeli leader Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas met for talks in Washington last week. The Obama administration is saying that a peace deal could be achieved "within a year." How many times have we been down this road?
